There is a song by the New Radicals entitled, “You Get What You Give”. This statement is so true. What we get is in direct proportion to what we give. This means the more love we give; the more love we receive. The more kindness we give others; the more kindness we receive. The more we respect people, the more we are respected. The more we give to others, the more we receive.
This is the good news (or the bad), depending upon how we live our lives. When we are generous, we find the Universe is generous and gifts come to us from many different avenues. Here is the great aspect about this reality – when we give we receive, although, from where may not be the same as to where, we gave.
The important thing is to give – with all our heart and soul – not because we are afraid of what will happen if we don’t – but because we love to give. The Truth is: Giving is it’s own reward – but the other rewards are pretty good as well.
To where, whom, or how can we give today?
