This past weekend we celebrated Earth Day. Most people use Earth Day as a time to ask themselves what they can do to help our Earth survive for future generations. It is a time for resolutions and often, like the ones we make New Years Eve, we don’t stick to them longer than a week or so.
Did you make any resolutions? Are you committed to adhering to them? Our planet needs all the help it can get if we are going to leave a healthy place for our grandchildren’s grandchildren.
If we can just do one thing to help the environment, we can make a difference. It does not have to be a big thing – often it is the little things that make a big difference. Try doing Meatless Mondays – just for one day a week, do not eat meat of any kind. Or maybe bring reusable bags to the grocery store for the fruit and veggies you buy to lower the amount of plastic used.
There are many ideas. What you do is not as important as DOING SOMETHING!
