Happy Thanksgiving! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and whether you are traveling to be with family, having a gathering of friends over, or, like me, spending a nice quiet day being grateful, remember the holiday is not about the food, football, people, or parades – it is about remembering all the things we have to be grateful for in our lives.
It is a time to remember what is good in our lives and the world. It has been said that only 10% of what is in our life is negative yet we spend 90% of our time thinking and worrying about it. Tomorrow let’s use this holiday to spend 100% of your time being grateful for the 90% that is good in our lives.
The more we are grateful, the more we have to be grateful for. So if you want to increase the good in your life, practice more gratitude and a great way to start is with Thanksgiving Day.
Now, take that gratitude and continue practicing it every day of the year.
This coming year commit to making every day a day of Thanksgiving and be prepared for the multitude of blessings coming your way.
Quote of the Week
“If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.”
