From Rev. Arlene

Last week my grandson and I were on a ride at Universal Studios when the ride stopped. We had to sit and patiently wait until it started again. Although it was an interruption in our progress on the ride, it did not end the ride – the operator just needed to jump start it, and we were on our way again.

Sometimes in our spiritual journey we have an interruption or a delay. This is a time when it seems we are not making spiritual progress or that we are actually sliding backwards. These times are all part of our journey. They are not ends, just an indication that we have to do something to get ourselves going again.

Spending two weeks with my grandchildren was wonderful but my meditating stopped, my exercising stopped, and I found myself eating foods I normally do not eat. As a result, I began to feel like I had lost my connection with Spirit. I physically felt sluggish and tired all the time.

I have decided to kick-start my whole being – body, mind and spirit. What I need is a 30-day challenge that would, not only get me back on the path, but also push me past my comfort zone.

How are you doing right now? Could you use a little push to get you back on the path to spiritual, mental, and physical health? Then join me on the “30 Days to a Whole You!” program.

If you are interested, please respond to this email or make a comment on Facebook. I will be sending out suggestions on how to do it and we can form a support group to keep ourselves on track.

The challenge will begin on August 1st. Do something good for yourself and I guarantee the results will be worth the effort.
