Tis the season of Love! There is something about this time of year that brings out the love in people. People are a little kinder, a little more generous, a little friendlier, and a lot more loving. That is because it is a season in which we celebrate the birth of Love.
The Christmas story is a story of Love –Mary’s love, Joseph’s love, the Shepherds, the Wise Men, but mostly God’s Love. It is a time for us to remember that the holiday is not about the gifts, the food, even family, but about a consciousness of God’s Love for us.
This holiday season, be Love in this world. Give folks a warm smile, a hug, a word of encouragement, and tell someone who may not feel loved – that they are loved! Reach out and be a vehicle of Love and see how it can make the holiday brighter, not just for others, but for yourself as well.
Quote of the Week
“Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most.”
