Are You Your Thoughts?

Do you realize that you are a co-creator of your life? The thoughts that we hold in our mind, believe, and put into actions – become our life.

Does that mean every thought we have? No. We each have thousands of thoughts going on all day long – it is only the thoughts that we make a part of our belief system.

For years, I believed that I was unlucky, that if something could go wrong in my life, it would. I believed that I was not smart enough, good enough, pretty enough, tall enough, etc. etc. Therefore, I never really tried to do much because I was so sure I would be a failure at whatever I tried.

Because I believed I would fail, whenever I did try to do anything, the results were just what I had believed. What is truly amazing, is that as I began to change my thinking, my life began changing for the better.

Successful people are people who understand the power of our thinking. They understand that our life is not created from the outside in but from the inside out. If you don’t believe this, try it. Peace Pilgrim said that if you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought.

Try thinking positive thoughts every day. When you get up in the morning, say to yourself (or out loud), today is going to be a great day! Today I am alive! Today anything is possible and all things are possible! Sing, dance, take a walk outside, spend time with a friend. You determine how your day and your life will be. And when life gives you lemons – make lemonade!
